Vandiver has a reputation as a big time scorer in the 2029 class in Georgia. She is more specifically known in this part of the state for being a flamethrower from deep where she had several impressive games shooting the ball from deep. In the game versus Milton I was most impressed with her quick decision making and no hesitation when pushing the ball up the floor for White County against Milton’s press. Vandiver did so mostly with the pass and not the dribble as she connected with Kalynn Watkins Kalynn Watkins 5'7" | SG White County | 2027 State GA multiple times for scores in transition. Ansleigh took one or no dribbles before advancing the ball up the court and getting more points on the board in a game that went into overtime. She is a player with a lot of skill and I look forward to seeing her and White County play again soon.

Vandiver continues to build on a strong freshman campaign with another impressive showing. The sturdy lefty plays with confidence and skill, using a sharp crossover to set up her spin move in traffic. She can play either guard spot and isn’t afraid to mix it up inside, even posting up at times. Her feel for the game stands out—she understands spacing, timing, and how to create advantages. A young guard with a mature approach.

Vandiver is a kid that preseason not a lot of folks would have chosen to be selected on the t All Region team, however her play this season as a freshman in a very tough league resulted in just that. The lefty is an elite shooter from three point range with a quick trigger, so she doesn’t need a lot of time or space to get the ball out of her hands. Her consistency scoring the ball over the course of the year against a region full of experienced and talented players is the reason Coach Shedd and folks in White County are very excited about Vandiver’s potential.

Lefty shoots the three very well and is a skilled driver. Sees the floor off the bounce and has good instincts on defense. Strongly built. Well-balanced game.
