I was very impressed with Aslyn in White County’s 58-54 win. There is a lot to like about Burkett. She has a long and strong frame with versatility offensively and defensively. She moves very well, capable of playing either forward position. Aslyn has nice touch on her jump shot. She hit a step-back off a dribble hand-off and drained a dagger of a three late in the game. Burkett scores with both hands, finishing twice with her left as she scored downhill. Aslyn finished with 13 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. The tools are in place for Burkett to creep up recruiting boards over her final three seasons.
