Davis showed she could play alongside other ballhandling talents and she played whatever role was asked of her. She’s strong, handling physicality with ease and also spaces the floor nicely. Anya’s durability was shown on the defensive side of the ball. Identifying threats as well as neutralizing them in transition was also something she revealed. Anya came out and showed what she’s made of.

Anya will bring stability to any lineup inserted into. She has a solid foundation, strength, poise under pressure and strong leadership traits. Davis isn’t prone to fouling as a defender either. This’ll be a dependable option for her team this season.

Anya is a strong finisher who can score effectively with either hand around the basket. She has a tight handle that makes it difficult for defenders to disrupt her dribble or force turnovers. Defensively, she plays with great discipline, staying vertical when contesting shots and avoiding unnecessary fouls. Her combination of strength, skill, and control makes her an effective two-way player.

Davis is an adaptable shot-maker that can expose ill-prepared defenses. Anya’s eagerness to take advantage of mistakes must be taken into account. The VT hooper is worthy of mention and certainly a stellar representation for the state.

Anya stretches defenses with her deep shooting range, confidently knocking down threes from well beyond the arc with a lightning-quick release. When run off the line, she’s efficient getting into the mid-range with one or two controlled dribbles. She also contributes inside with timely cuts and occasional post touches. Anya keeps her head up in transition, pushing the ball ahead after rebounds to create fast-break chances for her team.
