About Aria

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a strong and selfless point guard with excellent court vision and awareness. I focus on creating opportunities for my teammates and making smart plays rather than chasing the spotlight. I love the game and take pride in being a true team player.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I stay locked in and focused no matter the situation. I bring a calm and collected energy that helps keep my team grounded. I truly just love to play the game and let my passion show through my composure and consistency.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve been playing club basketball since 3rd grade and AAU since 4th. I currently play for Legends United - Wisconsin, and I also compete as a volleyball player with Madtown Volleyball Club. Being involved in both sports has helped shape my discipline, teamwork, and love for competition.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through basketball and volleyball, I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills. As a point guard, I’ve learned how to communicate effectively, keep my team focused, and make quick, smart decisions under pressure. Off the court, I’ve spent some time volunteering with local organizations, which has helped me grow as a person and reminded me how important it is to give back to my community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was diagnosed with a health condition that challenged me both physically and mentally. It’s given me a whole new perspective on perseverance and mental toughness. I’ve learned how to push through even when things feel overwhelming, and that mindset has carried over into how I play and lead on the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m still exploring what type of college might be the best fit for me. What I do know is that I’d love the opportunity to continue playing basketball at the next level and be part of a program where I can grow as an athlete and student.
