Simmie Colson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Davis blew me away with potential as a freshman the numerous Tip Sheets she has made from me has left me speechless see evaluations here To cap things off, she helped lead her high school team to the UIL 6A State Championship, Division 2
*Rosters on Max Preps as well as UIL website have her listed as 2027 but her X account has 2026 and committed to UNLV

Davis showcased beautiful spin moves to slice through the lane, finishing smoothly over her left shoulder with touch and control. Once she got downhill, she owned the paint, carving out space and scoring through traffic.

Davis continues to elevate her game the same way she elevates to rebound and score around the basket, see evaluations here. Still, when you add up the combos, like her ability to play multiple positions, 3, 4, and 5, on both ends, that’s special, especially for the next level, and here’s why. She’s “long and athletic” and stands above “the magic number,” yet watching her come from out of nowhere to not only play the passing lane but block shots always has me smiling

Davis was one of the Top Performers at the She’s A Bucket Showcase see evalautions here, and like the name of that tournament, she’s is a player who “finds ways to put the ball into the basket” and that is a gift. Factor in that she’s “long and athletic” which is the base, and stands above “the magic number” her rebounding and timing to block shots, as well as her defense, inside and outside the paint, has shown me she can turn a game around from either end of the court

Davis scored the go-ahead bucket down the stretch for the potential game-winner, but before that, seeing her come from out of nowhere to not only play the passing lane but also block shots speaks volumes about her athleticism, yes, she’s “long and athletic”. Her defense in and outside the paint looked good. She scored from off the dribble, as well as around the basket, but her midrange pull-up was also nice

Davis left a lasting impression at the TABC Girls Showcase, and it was easy as 1,2, 3 to add her to the rankings, yet her performance a few weeks later at the Super 64 JUST DID IT for me see evaluations here

Davis is going to make a major jump on my next update, not because she’s “long and athletic” and stands above the magi number. Not because of her timing to block shots, as well as rebound on both ends but her defense, both inside and outside the paint was nice, so was her scoring off the dribble, around the basket and the short jumper, but peep this, her scoring with either hand dropped the mic

#31- Davis is also “long and athletic” which will always be the base, and since she stands above “the magic number” the magic she gave me from the TABC Showcase got me going. I love her timing to block, alter, and (or) deflect shots, but she’s one of those players who can do things to change the momentum from either end, see evaluation here

Davis is “long and athletic” which is and always will be the base, and watching her block, alter, or deflect shots while doing a good job defensively inside the paint raised my eyebrows; her defending “on the ball” baseline to baseline JUST DID IT for me. She also rebounded on both ends and did a good job finishing after contact
