Watkins gave me a glimpse of what she brought to the table a year ago, see evaluation here; however, the table is being set. She put on one of the best individual performances I personally saw at the event as she scored however she wanted. Her body control on her finishes, at times acrobatically, was nice; her “catch and shoot” as well as “stop and pop” jumpers looked good, but she also scored around the basket using “hands and footwork” to finish. Her defense was solid; she hit the boards and played the passing lane
