About Aryss

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as energetic and team-focused. I always bring a lot of energy and intensity to the floor, and I focus on making smart plays that help my team succeed. I know when it’s the right time to take a shot and when to create opportunities for my teammates to score. While I’m confident in my ability to score when needed, I also take pride in being unselfish.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would describe my mentality and personality as energetic, focused, and hardworking, but also goofy and fun when the time is right. I’m respectful and responsible, and I always try to uplift others by creating a positive environment for me and my peers. Whether it’s in school, on the court, or in the community, I stay driven to improve while encouraging those around me to do the same.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in several curricular activities within and outside of school. I serve as a Shine Leader at school in which I support and mentor the younger students. I am also apart of Yearbook Club. Outside of school I am a participant of Delta Academy and Sachs Elevated Program which both focus on leadership development,community service,professional development and college and career advancement

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through basketball, I’ve developed several important skills and qualities that have shaped who I am. On the court, I’ve learned how to communicate effectively with my teammates and support them through challenges, both in games and in practice. I’ve also taken on leadership responsibilities by pushing myself to set the tone on and off the court and leading by example through my work ethic.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One significant challenge I’ve faced is always playing up in basketball against older and more experienced players. Competing at that level can be tough at times because the game is faster, stronger, and more physical. It’s pushed me to work twice as hard, give maximum effort, and prove that I’m capable of competing at a high level. Over time, it’s helped me build mental toughness, confidence,

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that offers strong academics and plenty of career opportunities to help prepare me for life after graduation. I also want to attend a school with a strong basketball and sports program, where I can grow as both a student and an athlete. Diversity is another important factor for me. I want to attend a college that values different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences
