Let’s kick things off with one of our Top 10 Class of 2026 athletes, Ashlan Carlow-Blount Ashlan Carlow-Blount 6'0" | CG Maȟpíya Lúta | Red Cloud | 2026 State SD . She has garnered the most attention of this group but still remains a hidden gem with just a few college offers. Her film and watching her live would place her at the Division I level in my eyes. She is as athletic as they come and plays with great tempo and a lot of energy. She plays aggressively with a downhill mindset on offense, getting to the rim often throughout games. She is a high IQ player on both ends who does whatever it takes to help her team win. She creates havoc on defense and generates points off of tunovers with ease with a really good transition game off of steals. She is a walking triple double from points, rebounds, assists, and steals, and stuffs the stat sheet nearly every time she touches the court.

Ashlan has been gaining traction and is a player we have been calling a “hidden gem” for the last couple of seasons. She has Division I prospect written all over her and showcases one of the best all-around games in the Class of 2026. She’s an easy Top 10 placement in this class and fringe Top 5. Recent attention from colleges has finally cemented her status as an elite prospect. Ashlan is a stat stuffer and contributes in every way possible. Offensively her shot selection is superb and she can score off the catch as well as the dribble. She moves well to find her spots to score whether that be creating with the dribble or movement without the ball in her hands. In transition she has excellent vision and makes high level passes to open teammates. She has triple-double potential as a great scorer, rebounder, and passer. Rounding out her game is intense, aggressive defense with a really high IQ.
