Ashley is about as solid as it gets when it comes to a post player. She is very very athletic with her vertical jump and is agile moving side to side. She is one of the few girls at her position who can be switched on to a guard on the perimeter and do just fine defensively. This makes her extremely versatile and a huge get for College Of Southern Idaho which is where she is committed to play after her time at Wasatch High. She has had some monster performances such as her game Vs. Cedar Valley where she dropped 19 points and 20 rebounds in a 15 point win. Another one of the few players in the state averaging a double double at 18.8 points and 10.8 rebounds per ball game she has demonstrated dominance in the paint at her position. Wasatch has been surprising a lot of people this year with their high level of play but when you have a player like Garner that can erase shots and alter shots when players make their way into the paint you have a lot of other opportunities. She runs the floor well and she also rebounds at a high level. Look for her to continue dominating.

Ashley is a very solid center and is one of the Top 5 returning scorers in her class. With her side and athleticism she has been able to dominate the paint. Averaging a 17 point and 12 rebound double-double as a junior is not an easy thing to do so Ashley has proved she’s one of the best. Be on the lookout for a HUGE senior year.
