Brandon Tinnon | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
1,000 point scorer, taking her talents to Scenic City. This kid is going to be a nice addition to a loaded squad as they gear up to compete against some top talent. She’s going to find ways to put it in the cup from all 3 levels; however, her ability to defend and rebound will be a tremendous asset to this program. Look for her to be aggressive and physical right from the start. She is a tough competitor who is going to compete on both ends of the floor.

Her team may have taken some hits, but this girl’s game has stepped up in a big way. She has done it all for her club, led them in scoring, rebounds, and steals. Her style of play has kept them in some games but also has given her coaches someone to build around in the future. She’s been the aggressor, causing fits on the floor. I love her ability to read and react to take advantage of a situation. Once she sees something, she exploits it and then that’s all she wrote. A solid prospect who is having a great year.

Solid two-way player who will be asked to step up in a big way. She’s a tenacious defender who gets her hands on the ball. Steals, deflections, grabs boards. However, on the offensive end, she can pull it from deep, but attacking from the wing to create is her thing. Look for her to come into the season for the Lady Cougars with something to prove. She has been overlooked in the past and she is primed and ready to have a breakout year.

Versatile and physical, she can play on the perimeter as well as inside. She possesses quick reactionary skills, which enables her to get steals and deflections, be in position to block shots, and of course rebound the basketball. She is a solid defender who can challenge both guards and bigs. This upcoming season, look for her to play a pivotal role for her MTCS program. She’s a solid two-way player who competes each and every game.

Rucker is still growing in her perimeter skill set, and likely will end up a stretch 4 in college. Is in her comfort zone when she attacking the rim. Really nice penetration game and tough to stay in front of. Nice athleticism and strength. Elite rebounder from the wing. Tough to keep off the offensive glass. Shoots a really nice percentage from the line which tells me her stroke is pure, and she’ll eventually stretch her range.

Rucker is a kid that we at PGH undervalued on our rankings. She’s proven this spring, and proven this summer, that she’s an efficient scorer will a big time skill set. Really nice bounce to her game, and can take you off the bounce. Showing flashes of becoming a big time offensive threat.

Put up some HUGE games this season scoring the basketball, as her offensive skill set really emerged. Learning to be an inside outside player. At her best when attacking the rim and using her changes of speed and direction to create space to use her touch around the rim. Naturally gifted at slicing through defenses. Began pulling the 3 ball this year, and while the efficiency numbers aren’t there yet, I like her touch. Also battles defensively and will give you 6 rebounds and a steal every game.
She doubled her scoring while playing basically the same number of minutes. Expect her improvement to continue!

is getting so darn good! Her offensive skill is really rising, and her face up game is tough! Whether she faces up and rises into a midrange, or faces up and attacks off the bounce (can go right or left)…she has the tools to keep a defense off balance. She’s also really improving her ability to finish through contact at the rim.

Rucker proved to be a tough interior body mixed with a really nice touch around the rim. She went on a personal 4-0 run in the first quarter cutting the lead to 4 and forcing Knox Webb to call an early timeout.
Rucker is listed as a PF, but played comfortably on the perimeter attacking the rim. She’s a kid with loads of potential, as she also flashed some real defensive upside.

, that doesn’t get talked about about because of the school and division she plays on. But MTCS was awesome last season, making it to the state tournament, and they had two freshman play major roles!
Rucker is a combo guard that had multiple 20 point outings. Possessing extraordinary qucikness, she’s able to get to almost any spot she wants. Possesses supreme shot making abilities for her age. She can get hot in a hurry, and score from all over the floor. Defensively, she has the ability to take a team out of their offense with her disruptive on the ball defense. A terrific two way player.
