Ashlyn is a strong, physical young lady with a great frame who is also a multisport star, competing also at the high level in track. Great rebounder, not afraid of physical play, very smart heady player with a smooth touch and a nice defender and protector of the rim. Played for MAC Basketball this spring, I know he loves her game and for good reason, she’s a major force!

Ashlyn is coming up with huge plays at the end of this game!  Love how she can shoot from outside and knock down 3’s, and more than hold her own inside! Another big bucket inside to seal the win! She’s a bucket and rebounder!  

She has already gained a lot of attention with her abilities to take over a game at such a young age. She’s an exceptional player in high school for Mentor and on the travel circuit during the summer. Great frame, uses it well to protect the rim. Good basketball IQ and a solid defender! She is currently #5 in the state!

When I was talking to her AAU coach a few months ago, he couldn’t stop raving about her game. It didn’t take long to find out why, she is definitely very talented in different aspects of the game. She’s got the size to handle the paint, but she also sees the floor well, can distribute and move without the basketball. In a very talented freshman class, she’s gonna have the coaches knocking down the door very soon! She debuts at number 5 in the state.

Oh I see you- confidently shooting from downtown one minute, and dominating on the block the next play! She is making a statement out here and showing that she contributes in so many ways! No problem rebounding and taking it coast to coast, and makes her free-throws! This young lady is tough! 

I have heard so much about this young lady and I expect a solid performance this Sunday. This northeast Ohio freshman is going to catch attention this year, and I’ll see it firsthand this weekend!

This young lady is going to be really special, for her it’s just a matter of getting used to the high school level and quickly adjusting to that style of play. But she won’t have any problems, she’s a strong lefty who’s extremely physical and difficult to stop in the paint. Can score multiple ways, fans are going to love to watch her play!
