How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I’m an aggressive, defense-first player who creates turnovers, gets steals, and consistently rebounds. Offensively, I use my strength to attack the paint, create scoring opportunities, and make plays for my teammates. I have strong court awareness and can read the floor to find and create open looks for others.”
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
“I’m a team-oriented player who values my team’s success just as much as my own, both on and off the court. I’m very coachable and always open to feedback. I want to understand what I’m doing wrong and how to fix it so I can continue improving and become a better player for my team.”
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
“I’m actively involved in my school and community through National Honor Society, softball, FFA, FCA, and local church activities, which have helped me build leadership, discipline, and strong character off the court.”
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Basketball has allowed me to build meaningful relationships both within and beyond my community. It has opened doors to camps, community service opportunities, and personal growth experiences. Through these, I’ve learned the importance of stepping outside my comfort zone, which has helped me discover new opportunities and continue developing both on and off the court.”
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I’ve been working on improving my self-confidence so I can fully show what I’m capable of on the court. I’m learning to be more comfortable making mistakes, both on and off the court, and using those moments to grow as a player. I’m also focusing on stepping up as a leader—especially during challenging or high-pressure situations—by encouraging my teammates and helping keep the team positive.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking to attend a smaller, local college where I can complete my general education courses while also adjusting to life outside of home and becoming more independent.
