A combo guard with a strong skill set, she plays both guard positions with confidence. Her footwork and hands ready on the three-point shot is on point, allowing her to be effective at the two guard. She moves well without the ball, consistently finding open gaps and sprinting to the corners in transition to help push the tempo.

In the open floor, her ball-handling and ability to attack downhill make her a tough physical guard. Defensively, she brings solid pressure on the front line of the press, creating turnovers and opportunities for her team.

A member of the 2028 class, she is off to a strong summer and is a junior to watch next season.

An emerging name to keep an eye as a possibility to light up the small school ranks. Cox is an aggressive minded guard. She enjoyed a strong spring and summer of grassroots play. She’ll be looking to apply her skills to improve a Southwest Covenant team coming off a 14-10 season in Class A. She’s a multi-faceted scorer. Has deep range from three, which can open up the rest of her game. As she’s a smart driver by attacking under control and strongly. Has the tools to make a big jump as a producer in her sophomore year.

The combo guard handled the ball most of the time for her team Saturday. Good handles that used her body to protect the ball when pressured. Nice vision as she passed to ball to cutters picking several assists in the process. Knocked down the outside shot from two feet beyond the 3-point line proving she can play the 2 position as well.

Good rebounding guard that grabs the board and starts her own break with eyes up the floor. 2028 to watch this season as her scoring will be needed for the Lady Patriots

A shifty guard that handles the ball with confidence as she waits for the driving lanes to open so she can get to the rim. Good outside shooter that moves without the ball finding the spots. Dakota has been a surprise all summer with her consistent play and hustle. Look for this young lady to make a statement her sophomore season as she works her way up in the rankings.

A combo guard that got more productive as the summer went on which is what you want for 2028. Starting in early season with PGH Big Friendly and finishing with the MAYB Nationals I saw an aggressive guard that got downhill and finished at the rim. Nice outside shot from 3-point range. Always moving without providing an option for the kick out. Good handles on the open floor that was patience waiting for the lane to open before attacking the gap not forcing the issue.

The productive games, consistent work in the gym and the striving to get better each time she touches the floor adds Dakota to this list of standouts.

Nice high-arcing three-point shot. Was able to shore off of busted plays just from working hard. Made quick cuts at the right time, rebounded over smaller guards that weren’t as strong as her. Should be an instant impact player for SWC.
