Newberry has a high, lightning-quick release that is incredibly difficult to defend. She also long and crafty as a defender as well as a force on the boards from the guard spot. Newberry was honorable mention all-Oregon West Conference last year as a sophomore, and will undoubtedly continue to shine as a junior.
