Aubrey Timmerman has great hustle, and looks like a player with a strong basketball IQ.

She has a great first step, and is able to pass the ball out of pressure when she gets double-teamed. But her scoring abilities seem to come natural to her. She has a nice float game, with a midrange touch. And when she’s battling down low, she can finish with confidence.

Aubry scored 11 points in one game, but she’s really strong on defense as well; never giving up on a play-at one point chasing down a breakaway layup attempt and getting a block.

Aubrey was outstanding on the floor with her team, only appearing to look more and more comfortable as the day went on.

Aubrey has a strong first step, and she can drive strong to the hoop, or pass out of pressure when she’s double-teamed.

She’s a good defender, who doesn’t give up on a play-showing her speed a couple of times by chasing down a layup attempt and securing a block. And offensively, she can finish with confidence. Her midrange floaters were especially effective on Sunday. She scored 11 points in her team’s second game; 8 of which came on midrange shots.

Aubrey prides herself as a playmaker who can make shots, or distribute to teammates when she needs to.

Timmerman is a player to keep your best eye on over the next 4 years. She could definitely be one of the better players from Southern Illinois in this class, and already has the skillset to land her in the Top 30 prospects in this class. On both ends of the ball, she plays aggressively, and her playmaking ability on the offensive side is what sticks out the most. Strong upside.
