Speaking of standouts who began their varsity odysseys as eighth graders, Bright is living up to her last name as being one of the brightest stars out of the Lowcountry. She too played with FBC Reign on the Under Armour circuit. Even though Bright primarily operates as a point guard, she can also find time in a lineup as a two. Bright was a reason why last season’s Eagles version finished with an 18-12 record and entered last season’s SCISA 4A playoffs as a two seed. Throughout her athletic career, Bright has also tried her hand at golf alongside her basketball achievements.
