MCClendon was one of ther top defenders I saw at the event and her energy level stayed the same no matter placing her in that “never takes a play off” group. Her “on the ball” pressure baseline to baseline was not only smothering but it created havoc which led to turnovers as she knew how to switch, as well as regroup. She also showed a nice first step to attack and score and she saw the floor well
