She scored nine points in a row for her team to give them the early lead, has good range has the ability to penetrate to the rim and finish. Defensively she does a nice job on ball, can switch her man and is effective at both ends of the floor.

She’s had a couple of really big games this year, and had another one in their tournament opener against Meadowdale. 17 points and seven assists for this young lady who has good range, plays the game with heart and can scrap in a physical contest. Looks to have a good summer after a loss to Graham, and then ready for a big senior year!

Gillenwater, who verbally committed to Defiance College for both basketball and soccer, is one determined athlete. It says a lot about Autumn’s character and work ethic, to be recruited to play two college sports. She shows outstanding chemistry with her teammates- and has the skills to pay the bills!

She had a really good second half of the spring season, including several solid scoring performances. Her three-point shot is improving, just needs to continue to work on court IQ. Solid passer with good vision.

Her game continues to grow every time I see her. There are not many kids who work harder and it shows with her confidence. She has good handles and looks to have a very good work ethic. Good three-point range. From what I saw, I expect her contributions to go up this year for her high school!

One of the hardest working guards I saw during the entire time I was there. She does a good job distributing the ball with good court vision. Moves well without the ball, able to create opportunities for herself and her teammates. As her game continues to grow, I think she will have a very solid sophomore season. Embraces the point guard role very well.
