SCISA 4A defending champion Trinity Collegiate entered its season opener with 5A Division 1 public Spring Valley a bit shorthanded. Kind still put together a winning performance on what was otherwise a tough game for the Titans. She expressed a great deal of confidence in her 3-point shot throughout the contest – Kind had reason to. Trinity Collegiate drained five 3-pointers for the game.
