performing at such a high level for her senior season. Her IQ has been prevalent for years, and her athleticism is definitely fun to watch as she knows how to score on all levels. She is constantly evaluating what to do next thinking a step ahead of her opponents as she attacks the rim or pulls up quickly for her jumper.

is always ready to show off her explosiveness and versatility on the court being able to handle business on all areas of the court. She’s an excellent shooter from around the perimeter, and she’s masterful at creating space pulling up for midrange jumpers elevating over her opponents. She has great length that she uses on defense being able to anticipate what her opponents will do trying to get to the basket.

. She is versatile on the court being able to move well with the ball spinning her way to the opening to make the jumper. She hustles up the court scoring in transition. She got in the way on defense grabbing the steals and exploding up the court to get a play going on the other end. She grabs rebounds well on both ends of the court.

is back and looks more determined than ever. Her talent and skill set was on full display this past Saturday. She has excellent length on the wing and great ball handling skills. She is shift and has flare in her one on one moves in transition and on the perimeter. Autumn does a fantastic job of knowing when to attack the rim and when to pull up. I still believe her best basketball is ahead of her and she will be a star at the next level.

Washington is not only the top-ranked guard in the Prep Girls Hoops 2026 class, she is the top-ranked player in the 2026 class. When one is a 5-foot-11 backcourt standout, that will certainly earn a litany of attention from coaches at the collegiate level. While Washington primarily operates in the backcourt as either a two or a one, she can also give a team productive minutes in the frontcourt as a three. Unfortunately, she will miss time due to an ACL injury but expect her comeback to be bigger than this setback. Queens, Radford, Winthrop, Davidson, Appalachian State, Elon, East Carolina, Monmouth and Lafayette have all extended offers in Washington’s direction.

Autumn Washington is a complete player and tremendous athlete on the basketball floor. She is a strong and versatile guard from Ardrey Kell High School. This past season, Washington scored 15 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, passed for over 2 assists, and created several steals each game. Washington is poised to have a huge summer on the floor due to her skill set, how she involves her teammates, as well as her competitive fire.

Autumn Washington was scoring on all levels and had an exceptional second half. She attacks the basket so well backing up her defender and being able to elevate over them to knock down her shot. She uses her wingspan on both ends deflecting passes and blocking shots on defense to going up high and meeting the pass on offense. She can handle all types of players on the other end, too, from quick guards to those posting up against her.

Autumn Washington is an incredible sophomore player at Ardrey Kell. She is an efficient scorer around the hoop for the Sabers. This past week, she scored 37 points and collected 17 rebounds in a win over South Mecklenburg High School. She also scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in another win over Cuthbertson. This season, Washington is scoring from everywhere on the basketball court.

Autumn Washington was using her length to cause some problems on defense. She’s so disruptive causing turnovers with ease. Her length is an asset as she is certain to block some shots in each game. She did a nice job finding the open space, catching the pass, and showing off her jumper. She found herself inside, too, battling for rebounds. Her ability to use some power dribbles on the block shows how versatile she is. She had a nice step back jumper, too.

Autumn Washington was a nuisance on both ends of the court. She did a nice job repositioning herself knocking the ball away on defense. She attacked the basket aggressively scoring three point plays the hard way. She draws so much attention on the court with her size and athleticism.
