Ava describes herself as somebody with a team-first mentality, and the way she plays there’s no doubt that she is out there to get everyone involved. Doesn’t have the gaudy numbers, but she has the consistent numbers of somebody who cannot only defend but also distribute the basketball for the best shot. She moves up in the top 30, with aspirations of next level basketball, and being the best player she could be.

I said it earlier this weekend- Alexander is playing ball, and she’s stepping up her game in all areas! No fear driving to the rim, beating her opponents with her light feet, and my goodness coming up big with some critical outside shots when the game was on the line! And you better protect the ball- the rock always seems to gravitate toward her way! (Below stealing the ball)

Coaches, if Alexander isn’t on your radar, she needs to be! This is a baller with relentless energy (a former high level cross cross country runner), a defender that makes opponents uncomfortable and flustered all game, and has outstanding eyes for finding her teammates! No worries- she can score the ball too. (Below with ball)

Ava does a lot! She runs the offense, relocates so well after passing the ball, which allows herself nice looks at the basket!  Shooters shoot, and this child can score!  And her speed- I”m not sure that anyone can outrun her!  She always finds ways to get back first and tie up the ball!  (Featured Photo)

Angie loves his kids game! I’m looking forward to seeing her as she excels on the defensive side of the ball, but she can also score anywhere and contribute in many ways to her teams success!

Alexander can truly set the tone of the game in several areas- but if there’s one that I believe is game changing for the team, it would be her lock down defense! Don’t get me wrong- she’s a scorer, facilitator, and rebounder. But her D brings electricity! (Below with ball)

Ava consistently looks after the ball and protects it at all costs. Alexander takes charge and performs admirably under pressure! She forces turnovers, exudes confidence, and has numerous scoring abilities such as taking it to the rim or shooting the deep ball! No trouble with the rock, a tough defender, and a bucket from the outside!

Ava is consistent in taking care of the ball- a huge asset for a freshman to bring to the varsity level! Alexander steps up and handles the pressure very well! Forces turnovers, confident, and can score in a lot of ways! (Below with ball)

Alexander, who caught a lot of attention as a top runner in Ohio for cross country, certainly knows how to use that same motor in basketball, along with great fundamentals! Tough defender, a bucket from outside, and no problem handling the rock! Remember her name. (Below on defense)

Right off the bat, going baseline and floats the ball right in the basket!  She is something else when it comes to her decisions, high efficiency scoring, and ability to split the defense.  Fantastic job pushing the ball on transition- she places the ball perfectly for teammates! Losing track on the 3’s she’s draining! Alexander puts on a show!
