The senior led her team over Ritchie County. Dobbins finished with 17 points. She also added 5 blocks and 4 assists. Ava is one of the best rim protectors in the state. She uses her size and length exceptionally well. Dobbins forces turnovers, alters shots, and does all of the dirty work that does not show in the stat sheet column.

There should be no surprise to see Dobbins in this article! Ava is a top prospect. She is one of the few athletes that could play in any class and still shine. She is one of the best rim protectors and shot blockers in the state. The 6’4 center is a next level athlete and I can’t wait to see who lands this kid. She’s a true student-athlete and she will continue to play at a high level on the court!

Every coach in the mountain state should want this kid on their team! My favorite highlight was the triple-double when Dobbins recorded 16 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 blocks during her high school game! I don’t care who you are playing with a stat line like that, it’s impressive! Ava continues to put the work in during the offseason! Dobbins continues to be a great rim protector. She is one of the best shot blockers in the ’26 class. Actually, she is one of the best shot blockers, regardless of class. She continues to protect the paint area. Ava does a great job finishing around the rim, and stepping out to knock down open looks. Ava is a next level athlete, and I’m excited to see who lands this one!

Dobbins is one of the best shot blockers in the state, regardless of class. She has great length and size! She recently poured in 21 points, and added 4 blocked shots in a win over Doddridge County. She’s a fundamentally sound athlete that knows how to use her 6’4 length to her advantage! She’s a diverse post that can put up huge numbers. If you want a great rim protector at the next level, you want Ava!
