Shelby-Rising City didn’t end up winning their game yesterday but that didn’t stop them from having a player or two step up and standout. The one in particular that I am thinking of is Ava Larmon Ava Larmon 5'5" | CG Shelby-Rising City | 2024 NE at the Combo Guard position. Larmon is a 5’6 Guard, with a quick trigger from deep and a natural scoring ability. It’s to nobody’s surprise that this Huskies team is at their best when Larmon is in full attack mode with the ball in her hands. One of the best attributes about her game is that she doesn’t try to over-play her hand, getting herself into trouble. Not to mention, that she is very good at seeing the floor and understanding what is happening in any given moment. Giving her the ability to help out others around her whenever they have a break in play. I’m not sure what the future holds for Larmon but she has put together a very nice high school career over the past couple of years. One she should be very proud of.
