Ava unfortunately went down with a season-ending injury and missed Horace’s final 13 games. Her absence was felt immediately and was a challenge for the Hawks to overcome. She brings a lot to the floor on both sides. She is a tough and ornery defender. She isn’t afraid of anyone and certainly isn’t afraid of being physical. She was really missed offensively as well. She was a consistent third scoring option for Horace behind Lakyn Donnelly Lakyn Donnelly 5'6" | PG Horace | 2028 State ND and Jordan Christofferson Jordan Christofferson 6'0" | PF Horace | 2027 State ND . Without Larson, Horace was much easier to defend. She stretches the floor with her lights out three-point shooting. She finished the season shooting 36% from deep. I hope Ava is able to heal up this offseason and come back next season stronger than ever.
