She impacts the game with her ability to rebound, defend, and finish around the basket. Mills does a strong job battling in the paint and consistently works hard to create second-chance opportunities for her team. Offensively, she understands how to move without the basketball and position herself effectively inside. Defensively, her physicality and effort allow her to guard multiple spots in the frontcourt while bringing a competitive edge to Delphi’s lineup.

Ava is a really nice small school front-liner who stepped in and contributed to the Varsity level immediately. She averaged 13.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 3.3 steals per game, showcasing her versatility, along with her physicality and ability to be a top performer around the lane. She is a solid athlete and has some length, plus she knocked down a handful of open 3-pointers this season. I especially look for her to be much more involved around the perimeter in the years to come, making her a really nice inside-out forward prospect.
