Despite Fleming County falling to Menifee County 66–52 in the opening round of the 61st District Tournament, senior guard Ava Watson Ava Watson 5'4" | PG/SG Fleming County | 2026 State KY left it all on the floor for the Lady Panthers. Watson finished with a team-high 25 points and pulled down nine rebounds, battling until the final buzzer in what marked the final game of her high school career.

Ava had a really nice showing at The Classic. She excelled in transition, pushing the pace, running the floor hard and capitalizing on scoring opportunities. Her perimeter jumper was automatic, showcasing a pretty left-handed stroke that defenders had to respect. She did a great job turning the corner off the bounce to get to the rack, converting well around the rim. Ava also crashed the boards, going after rebounds with energy and effort.

Ava Watson Ava Watson 5'4" | PG/SG Fleming County | 2026 State KY led Fleming County in scoring with 16.9 points per game and was second in rebounds with 5.7 per game during her junior season. She has a smooth left-handed stroke from distance, but is most effective when attacking the rim. Ava can create her own shot while also getting others involved. Defensively, she displays great instincts jumping passing lanes for steals, and disrupting the flow of the opponents offense. She also crashes the boards hard and gets out in transition for fast-break opportunities.
