Ava Cotton Ava Cotton 5'9" | CG Central Cass | 2025 State ND is a great athlete that plays hard-nosed basketball. She is another girl that any coach would love to have on their team. She plays incredibly hard and leaves it all out there on the floor. When she subs out you can see she has given every ounce of effort she has. Once she subs back in, she is ready to do it all again. She defends great in the full court and can knock down open shots. Avah is a lot of fun to watch as a fan.

Avah had a great game for the Squirrels. The senior leader set the tone of resiliency when Kindred went on their first quarter rampage. She played extremely hard and was all over the floor. She was relentless in the full-court press, forcing key turnovers in the second half that her team was able to capitalize on. She had a nice middle drive floater and made a key three to start the second half. I was impressed with her effort and ability to compete defensively and secure offensive rebounds.
