Peterson plays with confidence in the open floor, capable of handling the ball coast to coast and using her speed to get ahead of defenders for finishes at the rim. She moves well without the ball, finds gaps in the defense and stays composed around the basket, keeping her focus on the finish even with defenders closing in. Defensively, she brings good awareness and effort in the press, trapping effectively before recovering into the half court and staying engaged with the ball.

Avery is a strong all-around guard who consistently impacts the game with her effort and decision-making. She finishes well around the basket, runs the floor hard in transition, and moves without the ball to create easy scoring opportunities. Avery also hustles after every loose ball and makes quick, smart decisions whenever the ball is in her hands.

Preston plays with strength and patience, finding ways to score through smart movement and aggressive play. She excels in transition by running the floor, cutting into space, and positioning herself for easy finishes, while also showing the ability to split defenders and attack the basket. She reads the game well by establishing her pivot foot to see her options, and her physical defense allows her to rip the ball away from opponents and immediately turn those possessions into points.

Avery had a strong showing during the live period, averaging 10.0 points per game. A consistent shooting guard with excellent shooting mechanics, she is always a threat to score whenever she steps on the floor. Avery has the ability to stretch defenses with her perimeter shooting and plays with confidence on the offensive end. Her consistency, polished skill set, and scoring ability make her an intriguing prospect with tremendous upside and long-term potential.

Peterson brings size, athleticism, and a high IQ that allows her to impact the game in multiple ways. She moves well without the ball, rebounds, and defends with energy. As her role expands, her scoring production should follow.

Peterson contributed 10 points and 4 rebounds, impacting the game with activity and composure beyond her years. She moved well without the ball, cutting baseline for finishes and sealing defenders to create scoring opportunities. Her effort on second-chance plays resulted in key free-throw trips, including tying the game at 38-38. Peterson’s willingness to run the floor and make herself available in transition added another layer to Steward’s offense.

Avery brings excellent size and athleticism to her position. I think this season she will have to carry more of the scoring load for her team. High IQ player that allows her to impact the game in a wide variety of ways. She defends with great energy and is always looking to get her hands on the ball. She is still growing into her frame but she is a good rebounder and defensive player! 

Has great size for a wing with good fundamental skills. Look for her to play a big role for her this season an play a lot minutes as one of the teams go to players. She effectively can create her own scoring opportunities by getting to her spots on the floor and driving to the basket. Good size on the defensive end, a good perimeter defender!

A consistent perimeter shooter looks like she can take the leap and be a great three level scorer. Good athlete is very effective off the dribble going inside attacking the glass. She makes an impact at the defensive end of the floor as well with her size she can guard different positions on the floor. High IQ player with good size that has really good potential to be a next level player.  

Has great size for a wing with good fundamental skills. Look for as the season goes on to play starter type minutes. She will be a player that fits right in at Steward and should be able to give that team some solid production as a freshman.
