Avery is in her second season of varsity action after a very successful eighth grade year. She averaged 10.2 points per game and recorded 4.9 rebounds per game last season, very impressive for anyone, let alone an 8^th grader. Avery has started her second varsity season just as impressive as her first. She is great at getting downhill to the basket and using her strength for tough finishes. She has begun to stretch her shot to the three-point line and is hoping to become a consistent threat as she progresses through high school. I anticipate Avery making the All-Region team this season.
