Admittedly, Schneekloth is a newer addition to our radar. Bursting into our field of view at the high school state tournament, the 6’0 wing from Marshall is lengthy, athletic, and highly versatile. After the high school season, Avery had a solid summer with the Minnesota Rise . She entered the class of 2027 rankings for the first time back in June, coming in at #62 – well into scholarship-level territory. Following the graduation of Tigers standout Taleigha Bigler, Schneekloth is going to be a big contributor this winter. 

With a lengthy presence, Schneekloth utilizes her long wingspan to great benefit on the defensive end, consisting of deflections, steals, and rebounds. Utilizing her length offensively, she presents a battle down at the rim with a drop-step finish. By driving into defenders, the Marshall forward comes up strong with the ball down low at every opportunity. Playing for Rise Purfeerst, she regularly manages to contain her opponents with the ball in the lane. Schneekloth capitalizes with a sturdy and controlled foundation while working hard for the ball on both offense and defense.
