With ideal measurable and athleticism for the next level, there’s a lot like about Skaggs’ long term upside. She puts those traits to good use with a motor that runs on both ends of the floor. In her final high school game of her freshman campaign, she pulled off a rare feat. She successfully ran down and blocked the shot of one of most athletic players in Oklahoma, Cauthron of Broken Bow. It was a great display of athleticism and fight that would appeal to any college coach.
Skaggs is more than just an athlete. She’s already a strong shooter in the mid-range and from beyond the arc. Has many of the tools needed to help get Fort Gibson back in the title picture of Class 4A. Which the tradition rich program last won in 2018.

Fort Gibson has a pair of incoming freshman expected to make an instant impact. In these clips, Skaggs already looks ready to provide a scoring punch. Good off the dribble scorer, working into the mid-range or pulling up from deep. Moves with purpose off the ball in the half court and transition. Clearly is continuin to stack days since the summer ended. Should be making big time waves by the start of the new year for the Tigers.

Tall guard that will be counted on to step in at the varsity level due to heavy graduation. Excellent downhill driver that finds ways to score in the paint. The guard also showed nice outside shooting ability. Plays with like a returning varsity player more than a incoming freshman

Long armed athletic guard, with a good motor. Runs the floor hard on offense for transition points, while hustling back on defense. Gets off the floor quickly and strongly for rebounds, blocks and finishing at the rim. Athleticism and apparent competitive mindset should help her adjust quicker to the varsity level. A freshman to keep an eye on as one of the next up for a tradition rich Fort Gibson program.

An incoming freshman at Fr. Gibson that is going to have an immediate impact on the program. The combo guard showed lot of poise at the PG position for an incoming freshman. Against the ball pressure the eyes stayed up reading the defense looking for the open teammate. If the pressure got up too close what I liked was that she drops and get downhill. None of that sideline-to-sideline stuff. A guard that will push the tempo baseline to baseline taking what the defense gives. As mentioned, eyes are up the floor looking to score or pass to the open teammate running the lanes.
The combo guard is an outstanding shooter. A shooter that always moving with the defense looking to set up in the gaps for the knock down 3. Impressive is the footwork on the catch and drives. I liked the step out footwork when getting open creating the space for the shot or the rip downhill. Nice 1-2 into her shot on the pull up leaving the option of a step back.
A bright young lady when speaking with her knows she is not a finish product. Evidence is when looking at her social media she is in the weight room getting stronger and faster. Along with teammate Zoe Hyde Ft. Gibson has a nice young backcourt for the future.
