Expert Analysis
Johnny Vick | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Teagan Snodgras is a special player. She brings a strong skill set, great size, and a competitive attitude that makes her exciting to watch. At 5’9”, she has the versatility to play positions 1 through 4, and honestly, she could likely hold her own at the 5 as well.
She has a nice outside shot to complement a smooth mid-range game. Teagan plays well off the ball, consistently relocating keeping proper spacing. She makes good reads on cuts and fills lanes effectively. On top of that, she communicates on both ends of the floor, showing clear leadership qualities and a strong understanding of the game.
Be sure to catch her with Kansas United squad during this upcoming live period.

put together an excellent scoring performance, finishing with 22 points while showing impressive efficiency against a tough Tonganoxie team. Her efficient shot selection and calm presence at the line demonstrated strong offensive awareness. Along with the confidence to knock down free throws under pressure.

may only be a freshman, but she plays with the poise, confidence, and skill of a seasoned upperclassman. Of all the 2029 prospects I had the chance to watch this summer, she might very well be the best. She brings a relentless work ethic and a locked-in mindset to every game, showing maturity well beyond her years. Her drive to improve is evident, and it’s already paying off, she’s earned an offer to play at the next level from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. With her combination of talent, mentality, and early recruitment attention, Snodgrass is a name you’ll be hearing a lot more in the years to come.

is the kind of player whose love for the game shows in everything she does—from how she competes to how she carries herself when the lights are off. I had the chance to speak with Tegan at the I-35 Showcase, and what stood out immediately was her mindset. In a quiet but confident tone, she spoke about not being satisfied, about always wanting to improve, and about putting in the work until the job is done. That conversation said just as much about her future as any box score ever could. She is a player to watch not just because of her talent, but because of the internal fire that drives her. The work matters to her. The details matter. She’s not just trying to get better—she’s committed to doing what it takes to be better. And when a player carries that kind of mindset, the ceiling is always rising.

Guard with great length and size that plays so smooth and looks like she loves the game of basketball. Strong skill set on offense that can knock down the outside shot or beat with a very nice mid-range game. Again, it looks so smooth as if she has practiced in her heads thousands of times. The length comes in play when she defends the next pass. She is up the lane waiting for the steals to create those points off turnovers.
A highly level IQ player that plays more like a upperclassman than a incoming freshman. Then again over the past two summers I have watched she has always played up. Amazing personality as always polite with we talk. A 2029 to watch and follow as she enters high school this season

continues to emerge as one of the standout prospects in Kansas. She had a strong weekend of growth and development at the I-35 Summer Shootout. I had the chance to speak with Tegan, and what impressed me just as much as her on-court performance was her mindset. She approaches the game with a relentless drive to improve, always seeking out areas to sharpen. While we often highlight the physical aspects of a player’s game, the mental side is just as crucial—and Tegan has both. With her combination of skill, work ethic, and maturity, she’s poised to make an immediate impact as a freshman.

is a name that continues to trend upward in Kansas hoops circles, and did not disappoint at this weekend’s I-35 Summer Shootout in Wichita. A high-IQ guard with a natural feel for the game, Snodgrass combines court vision, scoring ability, and relentless effort on both ends of the floor. College coaches looking for a steady, skilled backcourt presence with leadership intangibles will want to keep a close eye on Snodgrass this weekend.

Tegan has been on many people’s radar for quite some time now. It’s a new school and team, but the same tenacious high IQ player remains. Tegan orchestrated her offense like a seasoned veteran, not a freshman on a new squad. She can get her teammates in the right positions to score. That complements her scoring ability too, which was in full demonstration at the Summer Jam at the Dam. Tegan is primed to become one of the top prospects in Kansas, and her high school career is just starting.

A very impressive 2029 that played up with her group this weekend. A long tall guard that had no problem getting downhill to the rim. Impressive was how she used her skill set to avoid getting her shot block. One time she scored right hand on left side then next trip it was a reverse layup under the bucket.
A high percentage shooter that can spot up on a break or shoot the 3 coming off a drag screen in transition. Created opportunities for her teammates with her passing abilities. A 2029 that I will be following this summer.
