Avery is a sleeper prospect in the state and someone who showed tremendous growth and improvement throughout her summer season. She has the size and length to be a key contributor for Horace next season. She has light feet, long arms, and quick lateral movement which equates to a high level defender. I think she can establish a role as a defensive anchor, rebounder, and someone good for 2-4 put-backs per game.

. There will be more minutes at the post position and she is eager to earn them. She is a long and lanky 6’1 post who plays hard. She does a nice job of keeping her feet defensively and attacks the offensive glass hard. She keeps possessions alive and gets a lot of her buckets that way.
