Alic did not disapoint. Coming into Day 2, I was looking forward to seeing her in action, and she delivered. She’s a do it all player running the offense, defending, passing…you name it Alic did it. As the games went on she showed no signs of fatigue, staying composed, and constantly communicating with coaches and teammates. She’s the type of player that helps build a program.

The Oshkosh native has an intriguing back story, and didn’t get into competitive organized basketball until later than most players in her class. However, Alic has elevated her game each season she’s played at Oshkosh North and has become one of the most talented prospects in her class. Her length, athleticism, skill, and confidence separate her from most of her peers. It would also be fair to assume that Alic has one of the highest ceilings of anyone at the high school level in Wisconsin. We may not see the best version of her until she’s in college. Alic has multiple options to play basketball at the D1 level, but remains uncommitted.

The Oshkosh native has the potential to be a prominent performer at the next level. Alic’s best basketball is still ahead of her, and there are still things she can do on the floor that few others can. She can score the ball at all three levels and can use her speed to beat defenders off the dribble and get to the rim.

Easily one of the best players on the floor no matter who she’s matching up against. The athleticism, the control,. and the ability to extend to the outside is intriguing. She is no where near her peak and has so much room to grow. One of the best prospects in Wisconsin.

There is plenty of room to grow for Alic as a player, and if someone wanted to argue she had the highest ceiling in this class, I would understand where they’re coming from. She may not have the youth background other kids have in this class, but Alic is a quick learner. She’s picked up Oshkosh North and Blaze’s offense and defense and has found ways to thrive within them. She’s an athletic kid and has used her physical tools to excel on both ends of the floor. She has length, jumps out of the gym, and a change of pace to beat defenders off the dribble. As I said, Alic has room to grow, but I love what I’ve seen thus far.

The Oshkosh native is relatively new to organized basketball, but she’s improving rapidly. She’s an excellent all-around athlete and has blocked more jumpers than anyone I’ve seen. Her ability to figure out talented defenders and exploit mismatches jumped out quickly when I saw her play in high school last winter. At her best, when she takes what defenses can give her, there isn’t much any individual can do to slow Alic down.

There’s a case that Alic has the highest ceiling in this class, and I wouldn’t argue. The Oshkosh North wing is among the most athletic kids in this class, and you can see flashes of a skillset that could help her land at a P4 somewhere. You won’t find many kids who can create off the dribble, make shots from weird angles, and impact a game defensively like Alic. She’s grown as a player so much in the past twelve months.
