Sapp would wear North Augusta’s uniform in 28 games this past season while averaging 5.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and just over a steal per game. We shift our focus to the GRAD Athletics Thanksgiving tournament that emanated from the courts of back-to-back defending 4A SCISA champion Heathwood Hall. The second day of the tournament saw the 4A Green Hornets face off against another SCISA 4A combatant in Hammond. The game was close for three quarters before Aiken put the contest out of reach in the fourth quarter. Sapp led all scorers in that game with 16. In addition to an ability to score at all three levels, she gives full effort on both ends whenever she is allotted playing time. Sapp creates matchup problems for opponents on defense and will win her fair share of rebounding battles.

Sapp proved last season as an eighth grader that she was more than ready for high school basketball. She continued to display that as her 4A Aiken assembling closed out the GRAD Athletics Thanksgiving Classic with an emphatic 61-40 victory over SCISA 4A Hammond. Sapp would lead all point-getters with 16. Sapp displays an ability to score on all three levels. The young 5-foot-8 standout exerts plenty of energy on both ends of the floor. Sapp is an efficient rebounder and the problems she can cause opposing ball handlers on defense will enable her to collect plenty of steals and create additional possessions for her team. Sapp is also versatile with her ability to play either in the backcourt as a one or in the frontcourt as a three.
