After returning from injury Azariah became a productive player on the offensive end starting in June. Her size allows her to defend multiple positions, giving her flexibility on the defensive end. She is also a good decision maker which allows coaches to keep her on the floor during clutch moments.

Millard is a strong and versatile guard who stands out in many areas. She can get hot and light it up from the outside as well as power her way into the paint for layups. Millard rebounds well for her 5’6 ” frame, using her strength as leverage. She can get out and run and punish smaller defenders by attacking the basket in transition. Millard is expected to be an important part of Overland’s success this season.

Azariah held her own throughout the weekend. She shot the ball well, made smart reads off the dribble and showed poise whenever the ball was in her hands in the backcourt. Playing alongside older players will help her development making her an even better player as the year goes on.

Azariah is a bigger guard who can really shoot the ball from beyond the arc. She plays an unselfish game, always looking to make the right play for her team. Along with her shooting, she contributes on the boards and holds her own defensively, making her a complete player.

Watching this guard play for Tru CO 13U, it is hard to believe that she is only in middle school. She is a smooth guard with skills that will take her career far. She is aggressive all over the court on defense. She sees the passing lanes very well, constantly getting tips and snatching cross court passes. Azariah is quick on her feet and can stay with dribblers and close out to shooters. Offensively, Millard can make things happen. At just 13 years old, she makes great decisions with the ball in her hands. She sees the court well and can deliver on passes to her teammates in their scoring spots. Her handles are clean, Azariah can get to the bucket and score. She can get to the free throw line and score. She can get 2pt buckets, 3pt buckets, this girl can flat out score.
