Simmie Colson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Lott is showing me a whole lot of extra things each time I get to see her, and it’s no surprise, as she watched her older sister, Chelsea, create problems galore in high school. Her versatility has made her a Tip Sheet waiting to happen, see evaluations here, as I’ve had a chance to catch her several times in different settings with different teams

Lott has given me a whole LOTT each time I’ve caught her and her #THROWBACK mentality of diving on hte floor for loose balls, taking charges as well as playing hard nose defense speaks volumes about what’s coming see evaluations here. Her midrange game keeps getting better as she’s understanding how to create her shot and get it off while being pressured and her court vision as well finishing after contact has also gotten better

Lott keeps showing me a WHOLE LOTT each time I see her play, and her energy on both ends has always stood out as she is another player who falls into that “you won’t outwork me” group. She BATTLES for rebounds, scores over taller players, and her finishes after contact keep getting better. She also applies “on the ball” heat and scores off the dribble

Lott showed her versatility at finding ways to put the ball into the basket. She scored on putbacks; yes, she understands positioning to outrebound taller players. She dropped the jumper with ease, yet she also set the defender up to score off the dribble. Her slight hesitation played a part in that, and she finished after contact. Her “on the ball” defense was also solid

Lott has a LOTT of basketball in front of her, and after watching her older sister star right in front of her, I get her intensity on both ends. She plays strong defense, handles the ball after rebounding, court vision is solid, and she scores off the dribble

Lott sprained her thumb on opening day and wasn’t able to go on Sunday but she showed me enough to know she’s been working on her game. I covered her older sister Chelsea through school so here we go again as Bariah brings heat on both ends. Her “on the ball” pressure in the set as well as baseline to baseline was tough, she created her shot and dropped the jumper from mid to long-range and she scored off the dribble
