This has to be the third or fourth time that we have spoken about Blair Winter Blair Winter 5'10" | PF MFL MarMac | 2029 State IA of MFL MarMac High School over the past month or two. Winter took the court on Friday and showed her worth right away for her Lady Martin Bros squad. She put up 22 points in her first showing with a number of rebounds and plays on the defensive end. She followed that up with more production near the bucket, along with even more rebounds in the boat-load. There aren’t many that know about Winter but she is a hidden gem out of Iowa for the 2029 Class. The 2029 Class has a chance to be the most impressive Class as a whole that we have seen in a long time out of the state so saying something like this shouldn’t be taken lightly.

We spoke about Blair Winter Blair Winter 5'10" | PF MFL MarMac | 2029 State IA to end the high school season for MFL MarMac because she put up some really nice numbers all Winter long as a starting Freshman. Winter was mainly set inside the lane as her team’s main PF but she also demonstrated that she has the ability to move out on the perimeter if need be. Winter showed up each contested she laced up in over the past few months, producing as a scoring threat near the bucket and as a defensive stopper near the blocks. With her guard like ability, she was able to switch onto different positions whenever the situation called for it and that helped her show out even more as a really solid prospect overall. It’s early in Winter’s basketball journey but she has some promise. She will be hooping with Lady Martin Bro’s program on the road this Spring so I can’t wait to see how she handles that level on competition.

Blair Winter Blair Winter 5'10" | PF MFL MarMac | 2029 State IA is the second leading scorer for her MFL MarMac team and their leading rebounder at this point in the season. She isn’t the tallest player for her position but she holds her own. She makes great choices with the basketball whenever she has those opportunities and she thrives off of the ball as someone who can produce while screening for others. Over the next 3.5 years, this MFL MarMac team is going to surprise some of their opponents. Their best 2/3 players are all 2029’s so they are going to be able to keep this momentum rolling, even after this Winter comes to a close.
