Just a few days ago Kerr helped lead her team in a big victory over Saint Andrew’s. The big, stocky guard was able to consistently find herself in advantageous positions throughout the game and those 18 points were quite influential. The Lions are in good hands with their senior leaders like Bleu stepping up the way they’ve been lately.

Bleu recently reached the 1,000-point milestone, a special achievement she shared with her teammates. She’s a versatile scorer who can attack the basket through contact to earn trips to the free-throw line or pull up confidently from nearly anywhere inside half court. Bleu is also a strong ball handler, unfazed by pressure and using her frame to protect the ball from defenders. Her combination of strength, confidence, and shot-making makes her a difficult matchup.

Kerr was posed a significant problem for Pomfret. The St. Mark’s girls won big 49 to 29. Bleu was unshakeable in this matchup, putting up 23 pts, 4 ast plus 4 stl. This is one of the must-see senior prospects in the region. St. Mark’s is looking to capitalize off this confident win and Kerr will be a key component for them as they troop forward.

Bleu brings a two-way mindset: while her scoring gets plenty of attention, her defense shows she is a player who values that side of the ball. At 5’9” with athleticism, she has the size and tools to engage on the defensive end. In terms of mental edge, what stands out is her willingness to be counted on — defensively — even while being a scoring threat.

Bleu was the go to player for RIBC in Ohio. She is a strong guard who plays with a motor. She did a great job finishing at the rim in transition and in the half court. She was able to be creative in the lane in traffic with scoops and floaters. She also stepped out and knocked down 3-pointers. Her energy was noticeable whether she was in the game or on th bench.

Kerr had a nice game yesterday putting up 15 pts, 4 rb and 4 ast. She got out in transition, took advantage of isolation matchups, plus she found teammates as she drove to the lane. The big guard has a deep bag and it’s clear she’s gifted. Bleu’s game can rise to another level as the competition stiffens. Kerr’s general impact is inimitable. There’s just not many that have the overall capacity she does.

The mismatch-seeking Kerr will look to exert her influence early on. Her ability to make plays happen with the ball in her hand is an underrated trait. Not only can she score the ball and take advantage of isolation plays, but she also draws attention away from other teammates as she drives. The reclassed guard is certainly one to watch this weekend.

Bleu is a 5’9 guard that takes advantage of the mismatches that are put on her. Regularly Kerr will be looking to make a play for herself or teammates and can carry a good portion of responsibility when she has the ball in her hands. She’s a strong based guard that has bullish tendencies when smaller guards are up against her and far too athletic for the bigger players that will step up. Kerr is someone who can greatly influence the course of the game. She likes to take big shots and heightens her game in high leverage moments which always gives her team a fighting chance. On defense, she brings that energy needed to agitate many players. She can guard multiple positions on the perimeter and can even hold her own when it comes to rebounding amongst some of the bigs. The #5 ranked player at the position isn’t as highly regarded on the recruiting side yet, but there’s nothing a few impactful months of basketball can’t change.

A strong and commanding combo guard that is an instinctive mismatch. Bleu’s athleticism allows her to have the edge over a lot of guards that she faces. As a primary ball handler, defenders have a tough time stopping her from getting to the rim. She naturally blows by players with simple in-and-out moves or an easy crossover that allows her to put her shoulder down and create wide angles to the basket. Kerr’s game has been developing recently with the addition of a pull up jump shot. She can hit defenders with setup isolation moves to create enough space to pull off fancy step backs or efficient midrange shots at will. Kerr crashes the glass hard when she’s in an off-ball position. A simple box out won’t work because she fights around them to track the ball. In transition, good luck stopping her. Bleu is a freight train coming downhill. The athleticism previously mentioned is also translated on the defensive side of the ball. She can guard multiple positions due to her sheer strength and capacity to move fluidly. Kerr can have a major year this season with her high-powered game.
