Bliss Parker Bliss Parker 5'3" | PG Carlisle | 2027 State AR is fairly new to the 2027 rankings, but she is already one of the better defenders amongst the class’ point guards.

One of the performances that defined Parker last season, and probably helped cement her all-state nomination, was when she logged 8 steals against Hazen.

Parker will blitz opposing guards, causing them to make poor decisions and therefore, turn the ball over. She then starts the fastbreak and Carlisle can pick apart the opposition on the fastbreak.

Bliss Parker Bliss Parker 5'3" | PG Carlisle | 2027 State AR is coming off an all-state season with the Carlisle Lady Bisons, and I think she has another great season qued up.

A lot of players in these rankings are predominantly great scorers, but Parker does quite a bit of everything. One of the games she had last season that showed that was against Des Arc, where she put up 9 points, 2 boards, 4 assists, and a ridiculous 8 steals. Parker is a beast in transition, and it all starts on defense.

She had another 8-steal contest last year, as she picked apart Hazen’s offense, triggering numerous fastbreaks for her squad. Parker is usually the first Bison down the floor, and she gets a lot of easy lays. She is also able to outrun her defender and score through traffic.

Bliss Parker Bliss Parker 5'3" | PG Carlisle | 2027 State AR is definitely an underrated player, and worthy of rising through the rankings.
