Her ability to impact the game in multiple ways makes her a difference-maker. As the postseason looms, she is determined to lead Salida on a deep run.

She was effective from beyond the arc, confidently hitting shots from distance, and equally dangerous when creating off the dribble. Her poised and controlled style of play kept defenders on edge, as she could score in a variety of ways. With this strong showing, Braedon looks poised for a breakout year ahead.

Whether in transition or in half-court sets, she consistently finds the open player with precision passes. Braeden is also a scoring threat herself, able to score from beyond the arc, mid-range, and around the rim. Her competitive spirit extends to the defensive end, where she works tirelessly to challenge opposing guards.

Johnson is a gritty lead guard who looks to push the pace whenever possible, getting up off the initial rebound in transition. Bringing in a high motor, she is often tasked with grabbing and going on the break, eager to kickstart a full court offense.  Keeping her head up for the next play, she constantly seeks out the best shot possible, regardless of who. Johnson’s skill handling the ball has allowed her to command plenty of gravity both at Salida and with PLUTO Prospects. A smooth ball handler in the open floor or versus pressure, she looks to create the best shot possible each possession. Particularly active either off the catch or while attacking the rim, she stays ready sending kickouts to perimeter shooters. Her refined footwork allows her to mitigate turnovers out of the pivot, staying patient to make the right decision versus doubles. Following averages of 11.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game with Salida, Johnson remains one of the most coveted small school guards in this class.
