Braelyn was the best player on the court for Michigan Mystics 16U Chosen during my observations, and it started right from the opening game at the PGH MI College Tour. Her elusive ball-handling, aggressiveness, dribble penetration, and hustle stood out. She was a confident shooter from beyond the arc. Braelyn buried a pull-up three from the slot and another off the catch. She drove through the gap after a quick crossover to score a layup and used excellent over-crossover dribbles/pushouts to keep defenders off balance. I noted that Braleyn moved her feet well, anticipated cutters, deflected passes, and was a very aggressive defender. She competed from opening tip to the final whistle, made the hustle plays, and left a great impression as a result.

Every team needs a point guard who makes the right reads, decisions, and handles the ball with confidence. Braelyn did all of that and more for Mystics National 2028 at the Select Super Showcase. She created space from defenders using shifty dribbles with both hands, made extra passes to create high percentage scoring opportunities for teammates, and threw a perfect lob pass for the assist. Braelyn sprinted back in transition on defense, pursued offensive rebounds, and set the standard for talking on the court. Her all-around impact grabbed my attention, and I hope to see her compete again soon.
