Madie made her presence felt on both ends of the floor for the Mystics at the Tuesday Night Tune Up. The guard brought a strong defensive mindset, highlighted by a big-time perimeter block that showed off her timing, instincts, and willingness to compete on every possession. Offensively, Madie displayed confidence attacking the basket, using a strong baseline drive to get by her defender and finish at the rim. She also showed her ability to stretch the floor by knocking down shots from behind the arc. With her defensive toughness, scoring versatility, and competitive approach, Madie proved to be a valuable two-way player for the Mystics.

Madie earned herself a ranking this spring and summer with some head-turning performances for Mystics Chosen on the PGH Circuit. She had the ball on a string, and her confidence was exciting to watch during the PGH Michigan College Tour IV. She split a gap on a speedy drive for a layup and buried a deep wing three. Madie swished two deep wing threes and added another triple from the corner. She buried a smooth pull-up jumper off a shifty inside-out dribble, cut to the basket for a catch and finish off two feet, switched hands at the rim to score a contested bucket, and beat her defender down the baseline for an inside-finish layup. Madie held her ground in the paint against a drive and sprinted in from behind to block a shot.

Madie has been a complementary player for Grand Blanc this season and she hit her targets on Saturday at the Laker MLK Classic. Madie found her hot spot in the corner and drilled two smooth corner 3’s off the hop. She created space with a lateral dribble, kept her balance, and drilled another corner jumper. Madie jumped into the passing lane for a steal and made crisp passes to teammates.
