Brealynn Barnett is a force to be reckoned with in the paint on either side of the ball. Body size, athleticism, and speed are all things she uses to her advantage. I have has yet to come across a player that has all 3. Brealynn has been able to become a difference-maker over the past couple of years without having very many plays called for her. Her willingness to crash the offensive glass gives her a lot of easy 2nd chance points.

Her absence played a big part in their lost, so this season she played with a chip on her should hoping to get back to this stage again. Well not only did they get back but they’re the number 2 seed, all behind the paint presence play of Braelynn she brings toughness and skill most post players don’t have. In the 48-35 win over Doherty she posted 16 points and 11 rebounds leading the team to the Final Four against Grandview next week.
