Bre VanDenTop Bre VanDenTop 5'10" | SG Sergeant Bluff-Luton | 2026 IA is a multiple sport athlete, that will be taking her talents to the next level to compete at D2 Volleyball over her next 4 years. As you could imagine, VanDenTop is someone that comes in at 5’10 with some impressive athletic ability. She seems to understand her roles within her programs and how to play them to a T. She also understands that less is more. She is naturally crafty at times and that seems to come from just natural instinct. I hoping that VanDenTop finishes off her career on the varsity floor as a hooper this Winter but who knows. Sometimes committed prospects won’t take the chance so we will have to wait and see.

By the looks of it, Bre VanDenTop Bre VanDenTop 5'10" | SG Sergeant Bluff-Luton | 2026 IA is going to be a collegiate Volleyball player when the end of her high school career comes to a close but it’s important to note that she is also a talented Basketball player as well. VanDenTop is someone that could play at the next level on the hardwood, if that was what she wanted to do. This is someone that stand at 5’10, she has a great base to shoot off of from deep, at times she takes giant strides to get to where she wants to near the bucket for a finish, and she is willing to pass if someone else becomes extremely open on the opposite side. VanDenTop is just finishing up a very successful Volleyball season and I’m sure she is ready to hit the ground running for her Warriors program.

Being completely transparent, Bre VanDenTop Bre VanDenTop 5'10" | SG Sergeant Bluff-Luton | 2026 IA is a prospect that should have made the Top 75 for her Class in this Update. VanDenTop is a Shooting Guard with solid size at 5’10, an efficient shooting ability, and she can score while attack off the dribble once a defender overplays her jumper. Not to mention, she is coordinated enough to switch hands and finish going toward either side of the rim offensively. This Spring she has been showing off her skill with Sanford Sports Academy out of SD. If she continues to produce like she has been moving into July, that with her mixture of athleticism is going to get her some looks at the college level moving into this Fall.
