Central Decatur got their 10th win yesterday against Chariton High School. A major reason for this success is because of their Senior, Center in the middle of the lane – Breegan Lindsey Breegan Lindsey 6'0" | C Central Decatur | 2026 IA . Lindsey led her team with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists. As you might be able to tell, Lindsey is the force that pushes this group when things get tough. She doesn’t really leave the inside of the paint unless she is screening within the three point line or running the floor in transition, rim to rim. This strategy isn’t a bad one. Their biggest factor will be wondering who else will step up when Lindsey starts to get double or even triple teamed. If they can figure that out, they are a decent place to be in moving forward.

Brengen Lindsey is sitting with the second highest Blocks on the season so far for Central Decatur High School. Lindsey, a 6’0 PF/C, has registered 55 Blocks so far throughout her team’s first 10-11 games. As you can tell, other teams have a hard time at getting things to go inside the lane once they beat their initial defender because of Lindsey. If opposing teams don’t pay attention, it’s going to end in a block party. There is just no other way to put it. We are only half way throughout the Winter season but Lindsey should be proud of what she has accomplished up until this point.

Breegan Lindsey Breegan Lindsey 6'0" | C Central Decatur | 2026 IA understands where she makes her money on the hardwood. Lindsey is a 6’0 Center, that is in charge of controlling the middle of the lane defensively while being a consistent rebounder on both offense and defense. In Central Decatur’s first matchup of the season Lindsey recorded a unique double-double. She recorded it with Rebounds (10) and Blocks (11). That is not something you see every day but you can bet that this type of defense led the Cardinals into some potent offense. If Lindsey somehow averages near this all Winter long it will be some sort of record. I’m not sure we can expect that exactly but I’m sure we can expect to hear her name a few more times before this Winter season comes to a close.
