About Briana

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with great effort, I know there are always going to be people better than me but they will never has as much work ethic as me. I want to out run, out rebound, and out hustle everyone out there. Weather I am out there for a second or for the whole game I want to run as hard as I can and give it my all because you never know if it is the last time you will be able to play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is that I have to be the most in shape. If I see someone who is in more shape than me or has better skills it only pushes me to bet better. I love to encourage others to do the same, it can be discouraging to have people beat you to the rim or shoot over you, but that is why you have a team to cheer you up and say you have next play.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received a GPA award and got invited to be in the National Honors Society for my senior year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have good leadership once I get to know who I am working with. In the beginning I don’t want to come out full force because I don’t think that makes a good leader. I think a good leader sees the problem and helps you to fix it rather than demanding you fix it.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I haven’t directly faced any challenges but my Twin sister just broke her ankle and it has been really tough for the both of us obviously more on her part. But I have struggled to watch her go through that especially since we both play basketball and train together, which pushes us both to be better.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will be open and inviting. I want a team that has great teamwork and is here for the team and not for the individual. I want a coach that can be patient and work with the player if need be.
