This girl can has expert court awareness, exceptional communication skills, and she’s got speed in spades; this is Brianna Carlton Brianna Carlton 5'9" | CG/PG OK . Something that truly stands out about Brianna is her selflessness. During the middle stretch of the match, Brianna had possession of the ball and sped down the court. She got as close as she could to the opposing team’s basket, where there was about a half chance she might have made the shot.

However, Brianna scanned the court and saw that one of her teammates was in a much better position to score. She made a quick and precise pass to her teammate that led directly to her team gaining a point. Her communication skills are also worth talking about; not only was she able to skillfully communicate with her teammate in a way that earned her team a point, but she also would call out screens, switches, and loose balls.

Carlton is proving that old saying “third time’s a charm,” as I caught her back in May at Queen Of The South, see evaluation here, and more recently at #SouthwestShowcase, see evaluation here, so watching her maneuver off the dribble to score and finish strongly during the 3 on 3 was nice yet her “catch and shoot” with a hand her face had me smiling because that is going to create so problems. Nice upside because she “thinks the game” and reacts well in certain situations
