About Bridget

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as decisive, while taking care of the ball. As my team’s main post player, I have to be able to handle the ball both in the post and on the perimeter, while looking for my own shot and creating shot opportunities for my teammates. I try to look for my shot, while also looking for ways to get my teammates open.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have an energetic personality, which I show through bringing energy and fun and joy to everything that I do, both on and off the court. I have a strong mentality about basketball and what I need to do to be able to accomplish the things that I have set my mind to, but I also am able to recognize the line between basketball and family and friends.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in my high schools Aquaria Club, which is a club that takes care of native Virginian fish, plants, and amphibians. I am also apart of my schools Morgan’s Message club, which is a club that focuses on promoting good mental health in athletes.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed both through basketball and through school and community service good communication skills. These communication skills also have helped me develop leadership skills and reliability skills.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking to play at a Division 3 school, somewhere on the East Coast (not too far away from Virginia.) In this school, I am looking for a basketball program where I think I can develop both my basketball skills and social/leadership skills. Outside of sports, I am looking for a school that has a good history or archaeology program, since I would like to pursue a career as an archaeologist.

Bridget is a good forward who makes her presence known at both ends of the floor. A good rebounder on both ends of the floor, does a good job of getting put backs. She has strong hands, which she uses to finish around the rim. She uses her size and length to defend the paint.
