I was in awe watching Brinly Sparks in person for the first time. Her size and wingspan immediately stood out. She was extremely active on the defensive end, and had several deflections. Brinly possess a high IQ, making timely basket cuts, and boxing out every time a shot went up. She’s arguably the best overall athlete in the 3rd Region.

Brinly has taken a major leap. Her growth physically and skill wise has been impossible to miss. Nearly 6 feet tall now, she has developed into a long, versatile guard who can handle the ball, see over defenses, and make advanced reads. Her court vision stands out, and she is comfortable initiating offense or playing off the ball. With range that extends beyond the three point line and the ability to score at all three levels, she is a matchup problem. Brinly is averaging 11.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game, and her ceiling continues to rise with every outing.
